Men’s Lacrosse to Host IWU Boys Fall Sixes League

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Illinois Wesleyan men’s lacrosse team will hold the IWU Boys Fall Sixes League this fall. Registration for the league is open to those entering Kindergarten through 9th grade and can be completed by clicking here.

The league runs for eight Sunday sessions from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the first session beginning on August 20th. The league’s structure follows the Sixes World Lacrosse Rules and will be hour-and-a-half long sessions. The first 30 minutes will focus on skills training with two 25-minute games to follow.

The cost of the league is $80 for all eight sessions. Equipment can be rented for $55, including a helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, and gloves. There is an additional option to purchase a complete StringKing short stick for $65 or a defensive stick for $85.
