Denver Named a 2023 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad

DENVER – The University of Denver women’s lacrosse program was named a 2023 Academic Honor Squad and had 16 players named to the Academic Honor Roll, the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association announced on Wednesday.
Denver was among 290 schools across Division I, II, III and NAIA to be recognized as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.  To qualify, a collegiate program must have posted a 3.2 or higher team grade-point average for the academic year.
The 16 individual Pioneers on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll were among 941 student-athletes from 96 different Division-I institutions. To be eligible, a player must be a junior, senior or graduate student and own a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

The Pioneers finished the 2022-23 academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.638.
