HANOVER, N.H. — Mike Harrity, Dartmouth’s Haldeman Family Director of Athletics and Recreation, announced that Dartmouth Athletics has parted ways with head men’s lacrosse coach Brendan Callahan.

“At the conclusion of every season, we conduct a holistic review of all facets of each program,” Harrity said. “We are grateful for the dedication and investment of time and energy Brendan and his staff have demonstrated since he arrived at Dartmouth in 2014. We wish Brendan and his family well.”

Callahan ends his tenure with an overall record of 25-71 and 2-40 in the Ivy League. This past spring, he guided the team to a 6-6 finish and a 1-5 mark in the Ivy League.

A national search for the program’s next head coach will start immediately.
