Titan Athletics Honors Student-Athletes with 12th Annual Tommy Awards

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The 12th annual Illinois Wesleyan University “Tommy Awards” sponsored by the IWU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and State Farm Insurance, presented awards to Illinois Wesleyan athletes in an array of categories inside the Shirk Center Monday night, April 17. The winners of the top female and male “Athlete of the Year” awards went to Caelyn Steffens of the women’s soccer team and Jimmy Morton of the men’s golf team.

The Illinois Wesleyan men’s swimming and diving team won the “Academic Team of the Year” honor for top overall grade-point average.
 
Best Championship Performance (Male) – Davis Nguy (men’s track and field)

Best Championship Performance (Female) – Lauren Feddersen (women’s swimming)

Best Record-Breaking Performance – Caelyn Steffens (women’s golf)

Breakthrough Athlete of the Year – Annalese Chudy (women’s cross country/track and field)
