Two Tigers land Liberty League Weekly honors

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Two RIT student-athletes were named Liberty League Performers of the Week announced Monday, April 17. Senior Luke Pilcher was named Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Performer of the Week, while junior John Bagley earned Baseball Performer of the Week accolades.

Pilcher tallied 13 points on seven goals and six assists, shooting 10-of-12, to lead No. 3 RIT to a 2-0 record last week. He scored five goals on 7-of-8 shooting and had two assists in the Tigers 22-13 win over Ithaca. He had four assists and scored twice in RIT’s 15-8 win at Clarkson, Saturday.

Bagley went 14-for-25 (.560) with 10 RBI, HR, 2 2B, and a walk in the five official games played by RIT last week, including a 4-for-5 with 7 RBI performance against St. Lawrence during Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday. The junior is now hitting a team-leading .449 and also leads qualifying members in OPS (1.045) and slugging (.551).
