Robbert, DiMuccio Capture MAAC Weekly Honors

EDISON, NJ – A pair of Quinnipiac men’s lacrosse student-athletes captured MAAC individual weekly awards this past week, as revealed by the conference office on Monday, April 10.
 
Justin Robbert has been crowned MAAC Rookie of the Week, while Nick DiMuccio has been recognized as MAAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Bobcats’ win over Siena in Hamden on Saturday.
  
Robbert registered a pair of goals in the Quinnipiac win. The first-year has 11 goals and 12 helpers for 23 assists for the Bobcats. He’s got five goals over QU’s last three contests.
 
Graduate Student Nick DiMuccio stopped 17 Saints shots and scooped up two ground balls for the Bobcats in front of the cage. He has 143 total saves so far this season, and has tallied double-digit stop totals in every single QU game.
 
The Bobcats return to the field on Wednesday, traveling to Sacred Heart for an in-state matchup with the Pioneers.
