The attacker totaled five points in Denver’s two wins against ranked opponents last week. She had a pair of goals on Wednesday in a 7-5 win over No. 21 Michigan in the team’s home opener before contributing three goals on Sunday in DU’s 8-7 victory at No. 5 Maryland, recording her third hat trick of the campaign.
Gilbert leads the Pioneers in scoring this season with 13 goals and 15 points and has tallied a team-high three game-winning goals as well. She is also first on the team with 31 shots and owns a .419 shooting percentage.
