NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University men’s lacrosse team swept the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin weekly awards Tuesday, March 7, as senior Carson Kiichle (Vancouver, Wash.-Skyview) and sophomore Nick Schroeder (Waunakee, Wis.-Waunakee) reeled in honors. Kiichle was tabbed the league’s Offensive Player of the Week, with Schroeder garnering defensive honors.

Kiichle earned the award for the third time in his career, while the recognition was the first in the career of Schroeder.

The duo led IWU to a 3-0 week, which included wins over Benedictine University (19-10), Milwaukee School of Engineering (30-4), and Whittier College (16-15 OT).

Kiichle led the offensive firepower of the Titans, scoring 12 goals and assisting on 10 others, over the three-games stretch. He finished with 22 points, posting nine-point efforts at Benedictine and against Whiiter. Kiichle added 12 ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
