WRESTLING
Four Tigers will wrestle at this weekend’s NCAA Division III Championships in Virginia after the team finished a program-best third at the Mideast Regionals last month. Senior Colby Giroux won the 184-pound weight class at regionals, while senior Austin Lamb (165 lb.) and sophomore Nate DeGroff (285 lb.) finished runner-up and Josh Harkless (197 lb.) finished third.

MEN’S HOCKEY (24-11-1, 18-7-1 Atlantic Hockey)
RIT advanced to the semifinals of the Atlantic Hockey Tournament by sweeping Mercyhurst on Friday and Saturday. First-year forward Adam Jeffery scored his first two collegiate goal in Friday’s 5-3 victory, while senior Gianfranco Cassaro clinched the series with an overtime goal to beat the Lakers, 4-3, on Saturday.
The Tigers host Holy Cross in a best-of-three semifinals series at the Gene Polisseni Center this weekend.

MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Two Tigers qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships this weekend: senior Tyler Hulse in high jump and graduate Matthew Funicelli in shot put. Last weekend, Hulse finished second at the Atlantic Region Championships while Funicelli placed third. Both will compete on Saturday at the Brimingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.

The Tigers won two home games last week, beating Nazareth, 18-9, on Wednesday before defeating No. 10 York (Pa.) on Sunday, 11-10. Senior attack Luke Pilcher leads the team with eight goals and 13 points.
RIT heads south on Saturday to face No. 20 Ursinus in Baltimore at Homewood Field.
