DU Ranks No. 8 and 11 in National Polls

DENVER – The University of Denver women’s lacrosse team moved up one spot in one ranking and down in another after the national polls were released on Monday morning.
Denver moved up to No. 8 from No. 9 in the Nike/USA Lacrosse ranking and went to No. 11 in the Inside Lacrosse Women/IWLCA poll after being at No. 10 last week.
The Pioneers defeated the Colorado Buffaloes 9-8 last Saturday in Boulder to move to 3-0 on the season.
North Carolina remains as the No. 1 team in the country in both national polls.
UP NEXT: Denver wraps up its season-opening road swing on Saturday as the team travels to Columbus to play the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday at 11 a.m. MT.
