Wrestling (9-3)
The No. 12 Tigers competed at the Mideast/South Futures on Sunday. Sophomore Lee Rubin led the way with a second-place finish in the 133 lb. division, just ahead of first-year teammate Gabe Scalise in third. Junior Liam Strouse (165 lb.) also notched a third-place result.
RIT heads to Ithaca this weekend for the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships.

Baseball
Coach Rob Grow’s squad returns this year with several key returning players, including senior outfielder Chris Reilly, who tied the program record for single-season home runs with 10 in 2022. The Tigers also return two of their three primary starting pitchers, including second-team All-Liberty League junior John Arnold and fifth-year senior Jon Opalweski.
The Tigers begin their season at the Gallaudet Bison Baseball Classic in Washington, D.C., with games against Washington (Md.), Canton, and host Gallaudet.

Women’s Track & Field
First-year Samantha Crisci finished third in the 60 hurdles, and senior Catherine Fox landed fourth in the pole vault in last Friday’s Conference Tune-Up at Nazareth. First-year Abby Nautel finished sixth in the 800 with a personal-best Atlantic Region Championship-qualifying 2:22.35.
The Tigers host the Liberty League Indoor Championships this this and Saturdy at Gordon Field House.

Men’s Track & Field
Graduate student Matthew Funicelli won the shot put (16.32m/53’6.5′) at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up last Friday, improving upon his own program record while notching the sixth-best mark in the country this season.
Senior Tyler Hulse won the high jump (1.96m/6’5”), while junior Justin Jantzi finished second in the 400 with a personal-best and Atlantic Region Championship-qualifying time of 50.73.
The Tigers host the Liberty League Indoor Championships this Friday and Saturday at Gordon Field House.

Men’s Hockey (20-11-1, 16-7-1 Atlantic Hockey)
Graduate student forward Kobe Walker logged his first career hat-trick while sophomore goaltender Tommy Scarfone totaled 33 saves in the Tigers’ 4-0 win over Bentley on Friday.
RIT clinched the Atlantic Hockey regular-season championship as well as the top seed for next month’s Atlantic Hockey Tournament.
The Tigers close the regular season with a two-game home set with Air Force on Friday and Saturday.

Men’s Lacrosse (1-0)
Senior midfielder Zeb Hollinger scored the triple-overtime, game-winning goal in Saturday’s 10-9 win at Muhlenberg in the season opener. Senior attackmen Luke Pilcher scored three goals, while junior goalie Kyle Burbank made 12 saves.
RIT holds its home opener on Saturday against Bates.
