Buckeyes Voted No. 11 in Inside Lacrosse Preseason Poll

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s lacrosse team was voted 11th in the Preseason Inside Lacrosse media poll announced Monday.
This year, Ohio State will play four of the top five teams rated in the preseason poll and face off against seven ranked teams during the regular season.
Highlighting the Buckeyes’ 2023 home schedule at Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium are four ranked matchups, including two against top-five teams. The first ranked opponent Ohio State will face at home is North Carolina on Feb. 19. Second-ranked Maryland and fourth-ranked Cornell will face the Buckeyes in Columbus on April 9 and March 4, respectively.
The Buckeyes’ road schedule features games against No. 1 Virginia (Feb. 25), No. 5 Notre Dame (March 11) and No. 17 Denver (March 19).
Overall, seven of the 13 teams Ohio State is set to play in the regular season are ranked in the top 20. Conference foes Michigan and Johns Hopkins are also receiving votes.
